Latin Grammy winning superstar, Elvis Crespo was honored with a BMI Latin Award last night in Las Vegas for his hit singles, "Yo No Soy Un Monstruo" and "Pegaito Suavecito". The ceremony took place at the Bellagio Hotel & Casino recognizing some of the world's top Latin music songwriters, composers, and publishers.
Crespo, who is known for composing and of course performing classic hits such as Pintame, Tu Sonrisa, Luna Llena, and of course the international hit Suavemente has been with BMI for years and has been recognized throughout for his contributions to latin music by the association. He was nominated this past year for a Latin Grammy for his single, Pegaito Suavecito which he co-wrote alongside featured artist Fito Blanko.
Crespo who in December released his most recent album, "One Flag" has been on tour throughout the US and Latin America. His current single, "Sopa De Caracol" features international superstar, Pitbull. The video for the single recently debuted on VEVO and already has over 200,000 views.
