Award-winning artist and DJ, Juan Magan brought the heat to Ecuador over the weekend as he spun some of his biggest hits for two sold out shows. Magan, who is currently promoting his newest single, "Como el viento", opened both shows in Guayaquil and Quito for Daddy Yankee.
The artist flew into Guayaquil on Thursday from Spain and went directly to the venue to be greeted by over 15,000 fans at the Alberto Spencer Stadium. Saturday night they took the show to Quito, for another sold out crowd of nearly 13,000 at Bicentenial Park.
Juan Magan, who is best known as the creator of the genre "electrolatino" has become one of the most recognized DJs/artists in the latin genre, with collaborations alongside mega-artists such as Shakira, Pitbull, Don Omar, and many more. Earlier this month, Magan joined some of the biggest DJs in the world in Miami for Winter Music Conference where he brought his turntables to the Delano Hotel on South Beach alongside Steve Aoki and many others for an exclusive pool party.
Gearing up for some highly anticipated releases over the coming weeks, Magan has been busy touring in promotion of his latest single. In late April, he will join many of latin music's biggest stars in Miami for the Latin Billboard Conference where he will be a keynote speaker on BMI's "How I Wrote That Song" panel.
