Natalia Jimenez – “Algo Brilla En Mi”

The Spanish singer-songwriter, Natalia Jiménez, once again captivates music lovers with the release of “Algo Brilla En Mi” (Something Shines in Me), the third single from her latest solo album Creo En Mi (I Believe in Me). Coming on the heels of her hit singles "Creo en Mi" and "Quédate con Ella" (Stay With Her), this new single works its way into our head and gets us singing along from the very first listen.

It’s a song that always puts a smile on listeners’ faces. I love it and it’s one of my favorite songs from my album Creo En Mi! Natalia Jiménez notes. Last week, she traveled to Puerto Rico to debut the song on the island. “As soon as people listens to the song you see their reaction, and it’s positive.”

Her second solo album, Creo en Mi, which debuted at #1 in Puerto Rico and # 2 in Billboard’s Latin Albumschart, features tracks with a variety of influences ranging from rock and pop to electronica. The success of the first two singles – the title track and “Quédate Con Ella” – have made Natalia Jiménez one of the most listened-to artists in Latin America, Mexico and the United States.

Natalia Jiménez continues her intense promotional tour in support of this album, visiting Los Angeles, Miami and Puerto Rico. Shortly, she will travel to Mexico. During its release week, Creo En Mi quickly zoomed to the top of the digital sales charts.

Meanwhile, she serves as a coach on the hit Telemundo reality show La Voz (The Voice) Kids, alongside Daddy Yankee and Pedro Fernández. The third season premiered March 15 on Telemundo.

ALGO BRILLA EN MI

Lyrics: Natalia Jiménez, Claudia Brant, Josh Cumbee & Toby Gad

Me miras (You look at me)

y el mundo gira al reves (And the world spins backward)

me mareo otra vez (I get dizzy again)

Hablas y me pones a cien…. (You speak and you have me at 100 percent)

no hay quien pare este tren (No one can stop this train)

si al final nosotros somos polos opuestos (If, after all, we’re opposites)

que se atraen siempre con todo lo que llevan puesto (Attracted to each other with everything we have on)

vamos a quemar la ciudad después el cielo entero (We’ll burn the city and then the entire sky)

ay como te quiero besar (How I want to kiss you)

llueven mil rayos cuando yo te veo (It rains a thousand lightning bolts when I see you)

vuelan mis pies estoy dejando el suelo (My feet fly, I’m lifting off)

hay tanto ruido que no me lo creo (There’s so much noise that I can’t believe it)

algo brilla en mi (Something shines in me)

algo brilla en mi

oohohohohhohh

ohohohohohohh

algo brilla en mi

ohohohohohoho

ohohohohohoho

algo brilla en mi

imagino (I imagine)

que no es muy fino decir (That it’s not very refined to say)

lo que contigo (What I want to feel)

yo quiero sentir  (With you)

Repentino (Sudden)

pero divino tener a quien (But divine to have someone)

me erice la piel (Who gives me goosebumps)

si al final nosotros somos polos opuestos (If, after all, we’re opposites)

que se atraen siempre con todo lo que llevan puesto (Attracted to each other with everything we have on)

vamos a quemar la ciudad después el cielo entero (We’ll burn the city and then the entire sky)

ay como te quiero besar (How I want to kiss you)

llueven mil rayos cuando yo te veo (It rains a thousand lightning bolts when I see you)

vuelan mis pies estoy dejando el suelo (My feet fly, I’m lifting off)

hay tanto ruido que no me lo creo (There’s so much noise that I can’t believe it)

algo brilla en mi (Something shines in me)

algo brilla en mi

oohohohohhohh

ohohohohohohh

algo brilla en mi

ohohohohohoho

ohohohohohoho

algo brilla en mi
