Adan CantoMexican actor Adan Canto is metamorphosing into Latino superstar status, making his American big screen debut in the extraordinarily successful film franchise X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST joining heavyweights Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Halle Berry, Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart.
Adan was born in the city of Acuña, in the state of Coahuila, Mexico and moved to Del Rio, Texas when he was in middle school. Adan decided to move back to the states in 2012 and quickly landed a talent holding deal at Twentieth Century Fox Television, playing the deliciously sexy bartender Dominic in ABC's Mixology – penned by the critically acclaimed creators of The Hangover, as well as Paul Torres in Fox's drama The Following.
He then went on to land the role of SUNSPOT, a mutant with super solar powers who learns to harness them for the greater good, in the latest installment of "X-Men" – one of the biggest film franchises in America to date.
The ultimate X-men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two time periods in X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. The beloved characters from the original "X-Men" film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from "X-Men: First Class," in an epic battle that must change the past – to save our future.
